I just assumed that all balconies had a ceiling so you could sit outside if it was raining, and you would have some protection from the sun. You could see cabins several decks above you, and been seen on your balcony from those cabins. If you decide the buffet isn’t worth regaining the 5 pounds you lost in anticipation of this cruise in a single sitting, you might consider these other options also on the Lido deck (deck 14). Horizon Court would be perfectly fine if there weren’t so many other great dining options. Try the buffet and judge for yourself, but don’t keep coming back if it disappoints – it will likely continue to do so. I had Anytime Dining, meaning I could show up at any time the dining room was open like a traditional land-based restaurant.
Lounging on the Deck
Part of the wellness complex is the Youth Center & Lounge. Also midship on Deck 6 is the Luke's Bar & Grill (Luke Mangan Restaurant) - a fast food bar (with a takeaway option) serving burgers, hotdogs, chicken wings, kebabs, fries, prawns. Luke's Bar also functions as a specialty restaurant for lunch and dinner.

I liked the Bohemia Duo, especially when they played classical and contemporary melodies in the Piazza. I thought the selection of Movies Under the Stars on the big screen on the Lido deck was too limited. On a previous Princess cruise (on a larger ship), there was a dedicated movie channel on the TV in the cabin, and you could select the movie to watch. It was not possible to get a schedule of movies throughout the day. This is likely just another example of old technology on this older Princess ship. I really liked this theatre, it’s large and almost all of the seats have a good view. There is a lower section closer to the stage where we liked to sit.
